Love is the Ultimate Kindness

The eyes of love are everywhere, can be everywhere, could be everywhere. And when you look at the world with the eyes of love, the world looks so different, doesn’t it? And so often we forget that it is as simple as a kind word, a gentle look, a smile for the stranger standing next to you in line.

Someone in the Twitterworld posted a link to this song today, and I’ve listened to it over and over and over this morning. We only have one world and we can choose what it is.

You may not like the music style AND the message touches me to the core of my being. Where is the love? It is in you!

P.S.–I would have embedded the video. However, that option is turned off, so I figured linking was the next best option. Go out and love on the world today!

It won’t take long, and it doesn’t cost much either. Know that your words can make a difference.

Burying a child is the worst pain any mother should have to go through. She shouldn’t have to go through it alone.

Join Kaylen’s Write to Heal. Simply add your name and email address. In the event we hear of a mom that’s lost a child, we will contact you and tell you where to send one card and/or letter.

It’s that simple but could drastically effect the life of a hurting mom.

A New Support System for Families

I received the following message from an Amazing…how kind of her to take her own situation and look for ways to make life easier for others!

I am an adoptive mom who went through infertility treatments for over four years. I recently started a non proft, Parenthood for Me. Our mission is to provide financial and emotional support to those starting families through adoption or medical intervention. I want to help people through the very difficult life crisis of infertility with education, support and financial grants.

A Kind Neighbor

I wanted to leave the Bay Area and go to my family’s home in Lake Tahoe, NV for a few days. I called a neighbor to ask about the snow levels in front of the house and learned that there was a two feet berm of snow and ice blocking the driveway. We never visit the house during the winter and have no snow removal equipment, so I asked another neighbor if I could melt it with hot water and shovel the snow.

To my pleasant surprise, he called back a few hours later, and said he took care of the berm and could come up to the house. When I saw him in front of the house, he said he had shoveled the snow, and I would have made a huge mess if I had used hot water on that berm.

Needless to say, it was indeed a blessing to have his assistance.
